Biography

Louis Kuritzky, MD, is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health and Family Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. Dr. Kuritzky received his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. His internship was completed at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, and his residency in family practice was completed at Kaiser Hospital in Los Angeles, California.

Research Interest

Widely published, Dr. Kuritzky has contributed to a number of prominent journals in family medicine including Archives of Family Medicine, American Family Physician, The New England Journal of Medicine, Comprehensive Therapy, and Hospital Practice. Among his contributions are articles on management of impotence in primary care and the use of sildenafil for erectile dysfunction (ED). He has also authored audio- and videocassettes pertaining to management of ED. Among his editorial responsibilities, he serves as Associate Editor for The Physician’s Therapeutics & Drug Alert.
